Hi, I’m Caroline — also known as Caro.
Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve loved fashion. When I was younger, I was very insecure. When I started getting compliments on my clothes at school, I automatically began to care more and more about what I wore. Buying new things became something that really boosted my confidence.
In high school, I started shopping a lot. I mean a lot. Much more than what was sustainable, both personally and lifestyle-wise. Fashion made me feel confident, and my love for it has only grown throughout the years. Fashion history, in particular, has become my biggest interest.
Fashion Background
I began my educational journey in fashion in 2022, when I took a short course in Fashion Business at IFA Paris. I completely fell in love with all the subjects, and in 2024–2025, I studied Fashion Business and Digital Marketing at Istituto Marangoni. In the summer of 2025, I started my BA in Fashion Management in Copenhagen.
To me, it’s wild how everything in fashion somehow comes from the past. I’ve created this blog to share my thoughts on everything fashion-related — just real words from a real person. I’d love to hear your thoughts too. Maybe we agree? Or even better, maybe you see things from a different perspective?
The Name “ByFriis Blog”
From 2020–2024, I ran my own made-to-order jewelry brand called ByFriis. The name holds so much meaning to me, so it only made sense to carry it over to this blog
